Do You Really Need a New Website?
It’s hard to make a true return on investment with a redesign.
What really makes a difference and more importantly what will make money, are your offerings, a strong call to action, your message and most important visitors.
As long as your site doesn’t look like a coder has designed it, or a neighbours kid, look at adding a couple of dedicated landing pages and using the money put aside for the new site on driving traffic to it.
Then start making design changes and watching the results/conversions, seeing which changes work. We do a lot of experimental split testing (running two different landing pages to determine what works) and, within reason, it’s never design. We’ve recently had a 16% increase in enquiries, @ existing visitor numbers, for a client by removing most of the design from their webform.
